Beyond Move, Barnet
Beyond Move is a boutique movement studio in Barnet, North London, specialising in Pilates, Yoga, and specialist rehabilitative movement. It is a community-focused space dedicated to inclusivity and holistic wellbeing.
The Challenge
As a studio that prides itself on being "beyond" just exercise, the client needed a digital platform that communicated their inclusive ethos. The site had to manage a complex schedule of diverse classes—from Peto Pilates for neurological conditions to pregnancy yoga—while remaining incredibly easy for a local community to navigate.
The Solution
designed a clean, welcoming interface that puts the community at the heart of the experience. By integrating a seamless booking system and creating dedicated sections for their specialised offerings, the site serves as a functional hub for members. The aesthetic uses a calming palette and soft imagery to reflect the studio’s physical atmosphere in Barnet, making the transition from online browsing to in-person movement feel effortless.

NP Osteopathy, Finchley
Nonica is a deeply caring osteopath working from her professional clinical practice located in Finchley, North London. She provides expert osteopathic care and specialises in dance injury rehabilitation.
The Challenge
For a healthcare provider, building trust is the primary objective. The practice needed a professional, clinical-yet-approachable online identity that would stand out in the competitive North London wellness market and convert local searchers into patients.
The Solution
I designed a serene, patient-centered digital experience that emphasizes Nonica’s compassionate approach to recovery. The site clearly categorizes her specialized expertise—including a dedicated Dance Injury Clinic, Office Ergonomics, and general Wellbeing—to appeal to a broad North London demographic. To build immediate clinical authority, I integrated a prominent "Insurance We Accept" section and accreditation logos. The final design priorities accessibility with a clear "Book an Appointment" call-to-action and a localised contact section focused on her Finchley studio.

Areas Served
-

Barnet
A diverse residential area known for its green spaces and family friendly atmosphere. As London’s second most populated borough, Barnet is home 30,000 enterprises - 94% of which are micro-businesses. I have worked with a number of businesses on the high street - from pilates studios to dog groomers. Additionally the area boasts one of the largest urban development projects in Europe - Brent Cross Town. The development has enough office space for 25,000 new jobs.

Finchley
Finchley is a borough made up of three distinct personalities. The northern regeneration zone is undergoing a significant transformation. The Artsdepot is a major coworking and networking space. The beautiful 1930s Grand Arcade has been revitalised as a low-cost incubator for new brands. Finchley Central has a high volume of professional businesses and a growing tech scene. East Finchley is defined by its independent spirit. The High Road is famous for independent shops and the iconic Phoenix Cinema which is the oldest continuously running cinema in the UK.
-

Islington
An area defined by the convergence of tech, design, and science. Old Street, described as the silicon roundabout is the base for a large number of software companies. Office spaces near Angel are seeing a surge in biotech and health-tech businesses. The council is now requiring that new developments provide a percentage affordable workspace. Additionally, Islington has more restaurants than there are days of the year. Upper Street has a thriving evening economy drawing foodies and theatre-goers. There are also a high number of high-end interior design and architectural studios tucked behind the bars. The northern Archway area has been designated a Creative Enterprise Zone. The council is aiming to turn Archway into a more affordable alternative to Shoreditch. The area is already a hotspot for filmmakers, artists, and digital creators.
-

Angel
Angel is Home to the The Business Design Centre which hosts major international summits like the Surface Design Show. Upper Street and Essex Road are packed with high-end showrooms displaying everything from kitchen to premium lighting tech. Here you’ll also find a high concentration of fintech and legal companies. The Angel business improvement district is one of the most active in London with a heavy emphasis on keeping the area attractive for commercial tenants. The area has always been a foodie hub but today Angel dominates the UK’s Top Gastropub rankings. There is also a growing scene of sustainable food startups that focus on supply chain transparency and urban dining.
-

Hampstead & Highgate
Known for their recession-proof luxury economy, these twin villages are known for high-end commerce and hospitality. Many of the surrounding businesses cater to the area's affluent residents offering luxury fitness, boutique shopping and some of the UK’s highest ranking gastropubs. Highgate Village is currently exploring a plan to repurpose old transport sits into permanent artisan markets and outdoor dining spaces - marking a shift from traditional retail to a more experience based model. Hampstead Heath is fast becoming a destination for high-end gyms and facilities. Plus the council is actively pursuing film production as a revenue stream so it’s not unusual to see a film crew in N3/NW3.
-

Muswell Hill
A leafy suburb known for it’s park, palace, and views of of the capital. Famously lacking a tube station, it has a vibrant hyper-local economy with much of it’s affluent residents preferring to shop on Muswell Hill Broadway rather than making the commute further afield. Muswell Hill Creatives is a collective of designers, ceramicists, and jewellers that sell and organise events and fairs in the area. While the scene is dominated by specialist food and heritage brands, there is a massive market for specialised services. There is a high density of wellness companies, premium care homes and clinics.
-

King’s Cross & Euston
After years of development, King’s Cross is now a thriving campus of global tech giants and world-leading labs. Known as the Knowledge Quarter, it contains over 100 academic, cultural, and scientific institutions. New developments like Tribeca and the Camley Street are allowing startups born in the Francis Crick Institute to scale without leaving the borough. Victorian viaducts have been transformed into Coal Drops Yard - a modern retail experience featuring sustainable tech and high-end makers.
-

Camden
Camden has undergone a massive, high stakes transition from its alternative roots into a £1 billion creative powerhouse. The industrial land around Regis Road and Kentish Town is being transformed into a next-generation film production playground. Priced out of Soho, high-end post-production firms are moving in. Additionally the Camden Collective is taking empty shops and turning them into subsidised coworking hubs and pop-ups for micro-businesses. While still largely visited by tourists Camden Market has shifted in recent years towards craftsmanship and sustainability - prioritising vendors who make their goods within London.
