Bespoke Web Designer East London | Digital Growth for Modern Brands
East London is a rapidly changing place with strong industrial roots. It’s known for its trendy neighbourhoods like Shoreditch, Hackney and Dalston - as well as thriving food and arts scenes like Brick Lane. Over the last century, the decline of the industrial age has led to rapid regeneration of the historic docks into modern business and residential areas. Canary Wharf has become a major financial hub and projects like Olympic Park have reinvented an area that was historically known for poverty, overcrowding and social problems. I recently built a website for the Jack The Ripper Museum in Whitechapel which taught me a lot about East London and its history.
But enough of the past - today East London is a thriving hub of professionalism and creativity. East London Tech City, also known the Silicon Roundabout, is a high-tech cluster of companies and hub of innovation. It’s home to over 5,000 companies attracting large amounts of investment coming from Google, Facebook and Intel. Google has a seven-story building near Old Street roundabout. The influx of people working at tech and finance companies has led to the building of luxury apartments an arthouse cinema and many more developments. As a result, the requirement for luxury web design has sky-rocketed as businesses compete for the attention of a particularly educated and discerning demographic.
Canary Wharf & Docklands is the UK’s most important financial district, with skyscrapers like One Canada Square towering above. Here you’ll find the EU headquarters of the worlds largest financial institutions like Barclays, Credit Suisse, and HSBC. Browse a small selection of financial services websites I have built here. It’s also home to the Level39 tech incubator.
Hackney & Dalston is more attractive to businesses in the arts and creative industries. They offer a range of modern and affordable office spaces, from converted warehouses to contemporary developments. I have worked with a number of creative agencies - building their websites but also building white label sites for their clients.
Tower Hamlets and the surrounding area has one of the highest levels of economic growth in the country - with a significant number of people employed in finance, insurance, professional services, and the creative sectors.
Whether you’re a CFO, film producer or an artisan - I build modern story-led websites that connect with your audience and make things happen.
