Ealing is a vibrant residential area in West London known for its historic creativity (Ealing Studios) and beautiful parks (Northala Fields, Elthorne Park, Three Bridges Park to name just a few). It’s known as London's "Queen of the Suburbs" for its leafy streets and impressive amount of green space. I’m lucky enough to call Ealing home, building impactful websites for the small and large businesses that operate here and throughout the UK. Ealing is thriving

The Elizabeth Line opened to the public in May 2022, bringing Ealing closer to the City than ever before, attracting higher-tier businesses, and increasing property values. Jobs have been created and investors are making significant returns - the district is in its powerhouse transition phase largely driven by its strategic location between Heathrow and Central London. You can now get from Ealing Broadway to Bond Street in roughly 12 minutes and Canary Wharf in 26 minutes which has made Ealing an attractive place for a satellite office for many large companies. Significant commercial and residential redevelopment has taken place around stations like Ealing Broadway, West Ealing, and Southall.

Ealing is home to several Business Improvement Districts. These areas where local businesses have voted to invest together to fund specific local improvements. The primary one is Make It Ealing which focuses on making the town centre attractive for office workers and shoppers, and running events. Good For Ealing is focused on bringing together some of the biggest food producers to invest in good growth and community-led regeneration with the mission to create affordable homes and more jobs.
West Ealing has historically been more independent/retail-focused but is undergoing rapid residential regeneration which is changing the consumer demographic. World-famous for its film heritage, the film industry is still active and booming today. The oldest working film studio in the world is located here hosting TV and film productions from Downton Abbey to Black Mirror. It’s part of a wider West London Film Cluster that includes the the new Garden Studios in Park Royal which specialises in virtual production technology. The Mayor has actually designated The Acton and Park Royal area a ‘Creative Enterprise Zone’ with the mission to protect affordable workspaces for artists and makers against rising property costs.

Just north of Ealing Broadway is Park Royal - the largest industrial estate in Europe. It is the engine room of London’s economy. Almost a third of all of the food consumed in London is made here. Which kind of makes it London’s kitchen. It’s also home to major manufacturing with icon brands like Brompton Bicycle making their folding bikes here. It also has a large logistics network that serves Heathrow and the West End. If that weren’t enough, the Park Royal Design District is a growing hub of prop makers, set designers, and artisan food producers - the kind of clients I have enjoyed building websites for over the years.

Ealing is also a key node in the West Tech Corridor which runs from Paddington to Bristol and aims to attract life sciences and clean tech firms looking for space outside of the busy city centre. Having worked with many green energy suppliers and life sciences companies over the years, I am able to take a complex proposition and transform it into an impactful clean website that is easy for investors, stakeholders and consumers to understand.
